April 19, 2016 | 5 Comments

Great News! We have begun working on the ALM VM update for TFS and VS 2015. This will be update #2. We estimate to complete the update and make the VM and the Hands-on-Labs publicly available by the 2nd week of June.

If you have any questions, feedback or suggestions it would be great to hear from you.

Until then stay tuned!

  1. Hi Sachin,

Can you please ensure the issues with duplicate user accounts and associated permission problems is fixed in the updated VM?

    Thanks
    Anthony

  2. Hi, Thank u very much for the ALM virtual machine. It can be very helpful indeed.

However, since i don’t have access an available hypervisor to import it into, i cannot use it nor its TFS database. I do have an Azure account but as best i understand one cannot import it directly to an Azure VM, and the effort to create virtual hypervisor on Azure for this purpose is rather painful if possible.

Is there some way that you would kindly share the TFS 2015 databases in a format that one could import into an existing TFS 2015 VM on Azure that mimicks an on premise TFS 2015. For example maybe a TFS Backup that could be restored into the TFS 2015 VM, and thus bypass the inavailability of a Hypervisor to use.

Could u please advise ? Kind thx in advance,

    Moital
